Outstanding breakfast buffet and good food all around. Beautiful resort. Extremely hospitable staff. It's a bit removed from the rest of the city, so there is really no reason to leave unless you are looking for nightlife.

Superb hotel where those operating it go out of their way to help you

I booked different rooms on different days with this hotel. This review relates to a large room we had with outside swimming/plunge pool. The room was very large with separate lounge and study area. Well stocked mini-bar. Huge bathroom with twin showers and both internal and external access to the showers from the pool. Bed was enormous. Decor was sublime. Also had a freestanding bath, Read my other review of this location for details of our experience. Two weeks later I am missing this hotel like no other. I would love to go back!

We didn't stay long enough!! We would go back in a heartbeat! Everything about this hotel was flawless.

The location, the views, the staff and the facilities

The food at the seafood restaurant was not the best, and was very expensive. The breakfast however was incredible

We cannot wait to return!

The team of people working here were very conscientious in making sure our stay was as wonderful as it could be. The property is beautifully furnished, decorated and maintained. Everywhere is kept clean. The grounds are well kept and complement the architecture. The hotel also features some unusual and attractive artefacts. This property is a genuine 5 star experience. It has two pool sections but is fronted by a soft sanded beach that stretches many kilometres and there is a small river besides which was ideal for paddle boarding. The sunsets here were incredible. The Michelin recognised restaurants and food were sublime. The spa was heaven! The hotel organised a number of excursions for us in their private transport. There is an elephant sanctuary, waterfalls, bamboo river rafting (gentle but exciting), temples and many other experiences to enjoy. There are so many good things we could say about this property. I would not hesitate to book a future stay here. Make sure if you come to Thailand you choose this as your last stay as for us, nothing else compared.

We have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We have moved on to other hotels in Thailand since but still keep talking about our experience at this one.

Stay was excellent, housekeeping was great, room was very clean. Food was excellent.

Breakfast was good, although there was not enough room in the restaurant for seating the one morning, it was raining out. We were told there was no room and we could come back, we left but upon leaving staff asked for our room number and we were then told that they had room for us. Was a bit strange that they couldn't accommodate all guests at breakfast.

When staff could not accommodate all guests for seating for breakfast the one day. When ordering drinks either at the pool or in grill restaurant, it tool forever to get drinks, 20 min at least.

The resort is stunning and both restaurants were amazing. Wished the staffs explained their activities a little more rather than leaving us to discover from the TV/ booklet.

Beautiful hotel for a luxurious honeymoon stay.

Amazing hotel, lovely size, with lots of touches of luxury! We stayed in a paradise suite, with a pool, which was amazing! Huge room and lovely balcony for relaxing. The beach/pool restaurant was lovely, we ate here several times and very much enjoyed the meals. Drinks aren’t cheap, but we thought they were fair for a 5 star hotel as was the food. If you want cheaper food and drinks there are places a short walk along the beach. Having read some reviews before we went, it’s clear they take feedback on board. The pool now has staff to help with beds and you get bottled water which is a nice touch. Insect repellant on all tables was also a nice extra. Overall a very tranquil hotel, which was a great way to spend a week here at the end of our honeymoon. Location is good if you want to be slightly out of the town and passerby’s on the beach. Other sections of the beach were a lot busier. It’s easy to get a taxi to town or walk down the beach to restaurants.

There wasn’t much to complain about at all, turndown service was sometimes too early, we went back to our room to enjoy our own pool at 3pm one day to find our curtains had already been shut ready for bed. We appreciate the service, but sometimes felt it had been done in a rush and too early. My only other comment would be children, it’s a shame such a luxurious place allows children everywhere. There weren’t many but maybe a few restrictions would make it even more special.

Wonderful stay in luxury and quiet upscale hotel.

we had a nice room with view on the sea and the lagoon with a Yacuzzi on the terrace. Very nice breakfast buffet with lots of choice. All personnel extremely friendly and helpful.

Luxurious stay with good hospitality

We stayed in private pool room, which is spacious and has nice view. The extra sofa bed set-up was comfy. Hotel decoration is pretty with many spots for taking photos. The food was great. We ordered the floating basket for 500 baht, nice breakfast.

There was heavy storm at night and our room was blackout. The staff came to fix very fast though.

Not only the physical property that is beautiful, the sand dune and sunset are exceptional!!! You won’t see such scenery anywhere. Very long and wide beach with one of the best sunset. The property itself enchant the luxury of the nature very well ️

There are no words to describe. It was my second stay in Devasom and it is just perfect. It’s design and architecture is a treat every way you look or wherever you go you’re treated with this stunning views or details of the resort. The staff is obviously spotless so friendly relaxed and helpful.

I loved the sea but for people with children they should consider it is a very wavy shore so there is basically no time that you can let any kid run free in the sea but the swimming pool is amazing so that should do.

Small cockroaches appeared.

Only one point,but big issue for us was we saw a small cockroach in our room. We understand this is not fault of hotel. Our room was first floor and have small garden. Maybe second,third floor is no problem.
